I was born in New Jersey but spent most of my youth in Colorado attending public schools throughout. I received my BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and my MS in BioChemical Engineering at CalPoly, San Luis Obispo.

I am a director of engineering for TSMC, a semiconductor manufacturing company, and have been working in the semiconductor field for over 30 years.  

I live with my family in the Martens-Carmelita neighborhood of Mountain View.  My wife, Dipti, is an Associate Director at IHS (Formerly Stanford Research Institute).  Our son is a sophomore at MVHS and our daughter is a graduate of MVHS and is currently a junior at Boston University.

  • Taught advanced math to 3rd-5th grade at Castro (Mistral) Elementary
  • Volunteer tutor at MVHS
  • Started the chess program at Castro Elementary
  • GATE Representative for Castro Elementary
  • Coached Soccer and Baseball for 8 years including Junior Giants Summer League
